Historic Education Building

The historic education building at UNG in Dahlonega, GA is a 90 year old building which needed to be modernized for classroom and office use. It contained the entire campus’ computer center which needed to remain fully operational 24 hours every day for the entire duration of the project. All work, including demolition and asbestos abatement had to be completed in 10 months to accommodate the return of students for the Fall Semester. Swofford Construction accomplished this while maintaining the computer center with no down time.
