In keeping with Camp Glisson’s architecture reflecting the gold mine era, this new meeting facility was modeled after an old stamp mill. The 6,200 s.f. facility has a beautiful setting on Cane Creek with a view of the camp’s signature waterfall. This was the second project Swofford Construction completed for this client.
The building has meeting rooms, a kitchen, a library, and a meditation terrace with a sweeping view of the falls. It serves as a program center for summer camp, spiritual life retreats, and other groups. The Cagle Center offers one large, partitionable, exhibit/ meeting room with multimedia capabilities. All three floors are handicap accessible.
