Joe Tuggle, Swofford Construction’s President and Chief Operations Officer graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction. Joe has been in the construction industry since 1982 and also holds a seat on the Kennesaw State University Construction Management Industry Advisory Board.
Joe has experience building churches, schools, industrial, office and professional buildings. Before joining Swofford Construction, Joe owned a construction company, and has experience working for various General Contractors. Joe is currently serving on the Associated General Contractor of Georgia Board of Directors as the Secretary, as well as the Board of Directors for the Henry County Academy for Advanced Learning.
He is an active member of the Peachtree City United Methodist Church. He is a past president of the Starrs Mill High School Touchdown Club, and past member on the Committee for Church Development, the United Methodist Church North Georgia Conference.
Joe and members of the Peachtree City United Methodist Church have participated in mission trips to Liberia, Africa to help construct a school and playground for the Bishop Judith Craig Children’s Village.
